I am not someone who would normally seek help from anyone really but I was desperate. I have a medical issue with my oesophagus and can’t eat food. I am on a dietary meal suppliment drink which is disgusting. All I could think about was food every second of the day. Since my first session with Doug I have no longer craved food and can actually watch other people eat and have no feeling about it at all. I can now drink my meal replacement with no real issue. I am genuinely amazed at how well it has worked, he’s been brilliant. It has potentially worked so well that if I can start to eat food again I will need to see him to reverse my uninterest in food!

WONDERFUL safe space. Very relaxing voice and gentle demeanour. Just what is needed if in an anxious or negative state of mind. Of all the hypnotherapists I contacted, Doug's approach to reaching out to me was very personal and genuine: not just a pre -fabricated, robotic email with details on price and insistence on booking as a first. Doug phoned me to chat about my situation to see if he could help in the first instance, without any charge etc. He spent over an hour on the phone with me and within minutes I felt at ease and confident that I could openly speak to him. After his time, he assessed whether he could help me and I am positive he would have been honest and said if he couldn't help, without asking for any consultation fee. What is hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a safe and natural way of using focused relaxation to work with your subconscious mind. It’s very different from stage hypnosis,  you stay fully in control, and the goal is to support positive, lasting change.

What does hypnosis feel like?

Most people describe it as a state of deep relaxation or daydreaming. You’re awake and aware the whole time, simply more focused and open to positive suggestions.

What issues can hypnotherapy help with?

Hypnotherapy can support a wide range of concerns including stress and anxiety, phobias, unwanted habits, confidence, sleep difficulties, trauma release, and weight management. If you’re unsure, we can discuss your specific goals in a free consultation.

How many sessions will I need?

Everyone is unique, so it depends on your goals. Many clients notice changes within 2–4 sessions, while some choose longer support for deeper or ongoing issues.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes. Online hypnotherapy via Zoom (or similar) is just as effective as in-person sessions and gives you the comfort of working from home.

What happens in the first session?

We’ll start with a relaxed conversation about your goals, answer any questions, and explain the process. Then we’ll begin with gentle hypnotherapy techniques tailored to you. You’ll leave feeling calm and clear about the journey ahead.

What are your rates and payment options?

Hypnotherapy programs start from just £449 for a 4-week online breakthrough program, or £497 for in-person sessions. Flexible payment options are available, and we accept a range of methods to make getting started simple and stress-free.


What is your cancellation policy?

We require a 48hr notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations incur the full session fee. Please contact us directly if you need to change your appointment.  We do not offer refunds or allow switching from a package to pay as you go format.  (See Terms for more details below.)
