Discover What’s Possible When You Free Your Mind

A free 20-minute consultation. No pressure. Just a conversation.

When talking about it isn't enough

Most people have spent years understanding their problems.
They can name the patterns, trace them back to childhood, describe them with perfect clarity, and still feel stuck.

My work helps dissolve the problem at the level where the pattern actually lives, beneath habitual thought.

Doug's method combines a unique fusion of psychotherapeutic modalities to help you dissolve your blocks.

Rather than just managing symptoms, we will work together to

Dissolve the mental constructs that limit well-being, performance, and fulfilment.

Whether you’re looking to:

Improve your relationships, reduce stress and anxiety, optimise performance or feel a sense of peace and freedom

You’ll find the tools, profound insights and true transformation here.

This isn't theory. It's a path I've walked.

Doug Womack, HypDip (NCH) is a clinical Hypno-Psychotherapist, mindfulness teacher, and bestselling author — and he doesn't do this work from a textbook.
He helps people who feel trapped. Stuck in chronic pain. Stuck in PTSD. Stuck in anxiety that won't switch off. The training behind that is extensive, but that's not what makes the difference.
What makes the difference is that Doug's been stuck himself. He's lived the version of life where you can't see a way out, where the body or the mind just won't let go. He knows what that actually feels like, not from research, but from the inside.
And he knows the way out. Because he found it.
That's the work now: helping people release and dissolve the suffering that's keeping them trapped and stuck, stopping them from achieving their full potential.

FAQ

What is hypnosis?

Clinical hypnosis isn't what you've seen on stage. It's a deeply relaxed, focused state in which the mind becomes remarkably open to change, and it's where the most profound shifts happen. Every session is anchored in this state, with additional modalities drawn in as needed: EMDR, IFS, Parts Therapy, Havening, somatic techniques, NLP, EFT, CBT, and mindfulness. The result is therapy that doesn't just help you understand yourself, it changes you.

Will i lose control during hypnosis?

One of the most common concerns people bring is losing control. The truth is the opposite. In hypnosis you are always aware, always present, always in the driving seat. The only thing required of you is a willingness to let something shift.

What is hypno-psychotherapy?

The conscious mind understands everything. It can name the patterns, trace them back, explain them with precision, and still leave you stuck. A hypno-psychotherapist works beneath that layer, where the real architecture of your experience lives. By combining clinical hypnosis with the rigour of psychotherapy, we're able to reach what talking therapy cannot: the subconscious patterns, nervous system responses, and body-held beliefs that have quietly shaped your life. Change at this level isn't just psychological. It's physiological. It's felt.

How is this different from traditional therapy?

The difference isn't subtle. While conventional therapy engages the conscious mind, this approach works at the level of the nervous system and subconscious — where patterns are stored, where responses are formed, and where lasting change actually becomes possible. The results speak for themselves. And they tend to stay.

What does hypnosis feel like?

Imagine the feeling of being utterly absorbed in something, a film, a piece of music, a happy memory, where the world around you softens and your attention narrows to a single point. That's closer to hypnosis than most people expect. You're awake the entire time. Aware, present, and in control. Simply in a state where the mind becomes still enough to do something it rarely gets the chance to do: change.

What issues can hypnotherapy help with?

The issues people bring vary widely. The thread running through all of them is the same, something that once served a purpose and no longer does. Hypnotherapy works across anxiety and stress, fears and phobias, trauma, chronic pain, low confidence, sleep difficulties, stopping smoking, weight loss, and unwanted habits. Whatever you're carrying, the work goes to where it lives.

Can this help with Trauma?

Some experiences leave a mark that ordinary support simply cannot reach. This work is specifically designed for those navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, fears, and the kind of deeply ingrained patterns that have quietly shaped a life. If you've tried other approaches and felt like something was still missing, this is likely why.

Do you offer other therapy approaches?

Clinical hypnosis isn't what you've seen on stage. It's a deeply relaxed, focused state in which the mind becomes remarkably open to change — and it's where the most profound shifts happen. Every session is anchored in this state, with additional modalities drawn in as needed: EMDR, IFS, Parts Therapy, Havening, somatic techniques, NLP, EFT, CBT, and mindfulness. The result is therapy that doesn't just help you understand yourself — it changes you.

How many sessions will I need?

Genuine transformation doesn't follow a schedule, but it does follow a direction. Many clients notice significant change within one to four sessions. For deeper trauma work or longstanding patterns, a more sustained journey of six to ten sessions allows the work to reach the places it needs to. We'll guide you every step of the way.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes, I work with many clients from around the globe online as it is just as effective as in-person sessions and gives you the extra comfort of working from home.

What happens in the first session?

Nothing begins until you're ready. Your first session opens with an unhurried conversation, a chance to be heard fully, ask whatever is on your mind, and understand exactly what the work involves. When the time feels right, we begin gently, drawing on a tailored blend of psychotherapeutic and hypnotic techniques designed around your specific goals. By the time you leave, the noise will be quieter, the path ahead clearer, and something, however subtle, will already have changed.

Investment Options

Meaningful change rarely follows a fixed formula. That's why before anything else, we talk, unhurried, without obligation, to understand the full picture of what you're carrying and where you want to arrive. From there, we build a plan designed around you. Flexible investment options and a range of payment methods ensure the only thing standing between you and change is the decision to begin.

What is your cancellation policy?

Out of respect for the time set aside exclusively for you, we ask for at least 48 hours' notice should you need to reschedule or cancel. Appointments cancelled within this window are charged at the full session rate. We don't offer refunds or mid-package changes, but if something comes up, please do reach out directly, we'll always do our best to find a solution. Full details are available in our terms below.

How do I book a session?

You can book a session by contacting us via phone or Whatsapp on 07547-155-761, email doug@dougwomack.com.

How long is a session?

Each session is given the time it deserves. Most run between 60 and 90 minutes, guided by the depth of the work rather than the hands of a clock.
