Doug's mission is simple:  to help you reclaim your life and achieve your potential without spending years in therapy

Doug Womack Therapist

From Pain to Purpose

Doug, enjoyed a normal childhood with loving parents.

However, in his late teens falling in with the wrong crowd led him into the grip of drug addiction.

Despite his struggles in school, Doug's passion for psychology drove him to pursue evening classes while working as a club doorman.

Yet, this job exposed him to the darker aspects of human psychology, leaving deep scars.

Silent about his pain, Doug witnessed peers succumb to addiction, incarceration, and even suicide.

Unbeknownst to him, he was also trapped in a narcissistic relationship that exacerbated his mental health struggles.

The years of gaslighting and trauma took a toll, leaving him battling depression, social anxiety, and feelings of inadequacy
.

Transformation

After the devastating loss of a close friend to suicide, Doug vowed to reclaim his life and support others silently suffering.

Despite battling social anxiety, depression, and low self-worth, Doug committed to honoring his friend's memory.

He delved back into his passion for psychology, pursuing education in various healing modalities and overcoming his fear of being seen.

While working at a brain injury rehabilitation clinic, Doug witnessed firsthand the profound impact of trauma on brain function, sparking a deep interest in neuroscience.

Driven by a desire to help others, Doug immersed himself in his personal growth and challenged himself to find a way to beat his social anxiety and complex trauma so he could share his message with the public.

Though a combination of hypnotherapy, mindfulness and human psychology, Doug was able to reclaim his confidence, even performing stand-up comedy at a London pub open mic, a feat he once deemed impossible.

Commitment to Change

Finding his voice was a pivotal moment for Doug, empowering him to help others. Freed from the symptoms of complex trauma and limiting beliefs, he was able to unlock his authentic self.

Now a bestselling author and viral mental health educator, Doug is blessed to be able to help others to tap into their full potential.

Why I Do This Work

Once upon a time I sold a successful construction business to dive headfirst into the world of personal growth.
Because I realised that it was my true calling to help others reclaim their life and fulfil their potential.

  • I work with a range of clients including:
  • High-achieving professionals who feel stuck behind the fear of being seen
  • Entrepreneurs battling burnout, imposter syndrome, or perfectionism
  • Adults healing from childhood trauma and narcissistic abuse
  • Men who’ve been silently suffering and are ready to break free
  • Women rebuilding their identity after years of people-pleasing or emotional suppression
  • and many more

What they all have in common is this:
They’re ready to stop pretending everything’s fine and start living with radical honesty, emotional freedom, and purpose.

This work isn’t about fixing you; it’s about helping you remember who you were before the world told you to play small.
And walking alongside you as you reclaim your truth, power, and peace.
