Service Terms and Condtions

Therapy/ Coaching Terms and Conditions

By booking or attending any service, you agree to these Terms.

1) Definitions

Client/you – the person purchasing or attending services.

Session – a 1:1 coaching/therapy/hypno-psychotherapy appointment.

PAYG – Pay-As-You-Go single sessions at the standard rate.

Package – a discounted block of sessions purchased upfront.

Membership – ongoing access to community/content/coaching as described on the sales page.

Retreat/Event – in-person or virtual intensive delivered on set dates.

Account Credit – non-cash credit applied to your account for future services.

2) Nature of Service & Outcomes

We provide coaching and (where stated) hypno-psychotherapy/therapeutic coaching. We do not provide emergency, medical, or legal services.

You are responsible for your own decisions and wellbeing. We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results.

If you are under medical/psychiatric care, please consult your clinician before starting.

3) Scheduling, Rescheduling & No-Shows

Booking: Sessions are booked in UK time (Europe/London).

Reschedule window: ≥ 48 hours’ notice to reschedule without charge.

Late cancellations/no-shows: <48 hours’ notice or missed sessions are charged in full and counted as used.

Late arrival: We’ll do our best to extend, but sessions end at the scheduled time.

4) Fees, Payment & Invoicing

Fees are in GBP and (if applicable) include/exclude VAT as shown at checkout.

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout.

Transaction/processing fees are non-refundable once charged by the processor.

Instalments: If an instalment fails, access may be paused until the balance is cleared. Repeated failures may cancel remaining sessions without refund.

Chargebacks: We will contest unfounded chargebacks; you are liable for any processor dispute fees if the chargeback is denied.

5) PAYG (Pay-As-You-Go) Sessions

The standard PAYG rate is [£90] per session (subject to change; the price at booking applies).

PAYG sessions are purchased individually, have no bundle discount, and follow the reschedule/no-show terms above.

Conversion: You may upgrade to a Package before or after a PAYG session, but not retroactively convert past sessions to package pricing.

6) Packages (Discounted Blocks)

Packages are discounted in exchange for an upfront commitment to a structured programme (e.g., 6 sessions over [X] weeks).

Start & expiry: Packages start on first session and expire 12 months from purchase unless otherwise stated.

Front-loaded work: Assessment, formulation, programme design, resource prep, diary holds, and between-session support are built into package pricing.

No mid-way switch to PAYG: Once a package has started, it cannot be converted to PAYG or pro-rated. This protects pricing integrity and fairness for PAYG clients.

Refunds: Packages are non-refundable once started.

Pausing: One pause of up to 3 months may be granted at our discretion.

Transfers: You may gift unused sessions to one named person with written consent from both parties.

Extensions: We may extend expiry (e.g., illness) at our discretion.

7) Memberships (Community/Program Access)

Billing: Monthly or annual recurring subscription at the rate shown at checkout. Renews automatically until cancelled.

Cancellation: You can cancel anytime before the next renewal date in your account or by emailing us with 1 months notice.

No partial refunds: We don’t refund unused portions of an active billing period. Access continues until the end of the paid term.

Trials/intro offers: If you start during a trial and access members-only content, you consent to service commencement within 14 days.

Upgrades/downgrades: Take effect on the next billing cycle unless stated otherwise.

Community conduct: Be respectful; no harassment, spam, or unlawful content. We may suspend or remove access for breaches without refund.

8) Retreats & In-Person Events

What’s included/excluded: See the event page. Travel, visas, insurance, and personal expenses are not included unless expressly stated.

Deposits: Non-refundable and applied to your balance.

Payment schedule: As shown at checkout; late payments may forfeit your place.

Cancellations by you: No refund.

Where possible, we may offer a one-time transfer to a future cohort (admin fee £150), subject to availability and venue policies.

Name transfers: You may transfer your place to a substitute attendee we approve and subject to any hotel/venue rules.

Cancellations by us: If we cancel, you’ll receive a refund of fees paid to us for the event or a transfer option. We are not responsible for your travel or incidental costs, please buy comprehensive travel insurance.

Health & suitability: You confirm you’re fit to participate and will disclose relevant medical conditions/allergies. We may decline participation if safety is a concern.

Media consent: Events may be filmed/photographed. You grant us the right to use your image/likeness/testimonial unless you opt out in writing before the event.

Code of conduct: We reserve the right to remove any attendee for disruptive/unsafe behaviour without refund.

9) Between-Session Support & Boundaries

Messaging/email: Light check-ins are welcome; detailed coaching is reserved for sessions. Typical reply window:  1–2 business days.

Crisis support: We are not a crisis service. If you are at risk, contact emergency services or your GP immediately.

10) Cooling-Off

If you purchase online as a consumer, you may cancel within 14 days of purchase if the service has not begun.

Once a package has started, the package becomes non-refundable .

11) Confidentiality & Data Protection

Your information is confidential and handled under UK GDPR.

Exceptions: we may break confidentiality if required by law or where there is a serious risk of harm to you or others.


12) Intellectual Property

All materials, recordings, frameworks, and worksheets are our IP. You receive a personal licence for your own use and may not copy, share, or resell without permission.

13) Promotions & Discounts

Offers cannot be combined unless stated. Discounts apply prospectively and are not retroactive to past purchases. Converting started packages to PAYG would undermine discount integrity and is not permitted.

14) Fair Use, Refusal & Termination

We may decline or terminate services if we believe they’re not suitable, in your best interests, or in cases of abuse, non-payment, or policy breach. Refunds (if any) will follow these Terms.

15) Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the total fees you paid for the relevant service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

16) Complaints

Email doug@dougwomack.com with details. We’ll acknowledge within 3 business days and aim to resolve within 14 business days.

17) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at purchase/booking applies to that transaction; ongoing memberships follow the current Terms with notice of material changes.

18) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction. of Terms
